CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
     

Krav Maga Basics:
This entry level class is designed for all new Krav Maga students. The goal of class is to teach the basics of self-defense and fighting. Students will learn Krav Maga's fighting stance and movement, various punches, kicks from a standing position as well as from on the ground, elbows and knees, and how to defend against punches, chokes, headlocks and wrist grabs. Students who train an average of two to three times per week should expect to complete the curriculum in 4 to 6 months before testing into the Krav Maga Intermediate class. This class is a great way to learn an easy and effective method of defending oneself and will also get you in the best shape of your life!

     

Krav Maga Intermediate:
In the Intermediate Level class students will continue to review and hone the skills learned in Krav Maga Basics and will learn additional punches and kicks, punch defenses with counterattacks, kick defenses, and defenses against various chokes, headlocks, and bearhugs.  Students are also given the opportunity to participate in basic sparring at this level if they so choose. Students who train an average of two to three times per week should expect to complete the curriculum for this level in 6 to 12 months before testing into the Krav Maga Advanced class.

     

Krav Maga Advanced:
This class is for advanced students only and covers all the advanced curriculum including fighting, ground fighting, advanced self-defense, all weapons defenses, as well as third party protection and advanced sparring.

     
Weapon Defense:
This class focuses on weapon defenses and allows students of all levels to concentrate their training on weapon threats and attacks including:  knife, gun, and stick.
     
Cardio Combos:
This class is for any student wanting to get into fighting shape and work on blending punching, kicking, knee and elbow strikes into devastating combinations.  No prior training is required to participate in this class however the student will need boxing gloves which can be purchased at Krav Maga Milwaukee.
     
Heavy Bag Class:
This class is for any student who wants to get into fighting shape by working on full contact strikes against hanging heavy bags.  The resistance provided by striking our professional grade heavy bags allow the participant to not only get an incredible cardio workout but also fantastic strength training.  No prior training is required to participate in this class however the student will need boxing gloves which can be purchased at Krav Maga Milwaukee.
